Thirty-something Montana Moore, a Baltimore based flight attendant with Trans-Alliance Airlines, has a number of close friends - her long time BFF, blue collar William Wright, who lives across the hall from her with his current girlfriend, Taylor, and Mo often on the same flight detail with her "girl problem" confidantes, Gail Best and gay Sam - but has long been the literal bridesmaid, nine times and counting, and not the bride. She is under pressure from her overbearing wedding planner mother, Catherine, frequently married herself, to find a husband, that pressure increased with the announcement that Mo's youngest sister, college sophomore Sheree Moore, the last in the family besides Mo, is getting married in one month's time. In placing that pressure on herself, Mo is determined to make the announcement of her own engagement by the time of Sheree's wedding. When Mo discovers that her current boyfriend, Graham, who she believed may have been the one, ends up not being so, Sam believes he has a way to help Mo. A large proportion of Mo's casual ex-boyfriends, like Graham, she met in they being high powered frequent flyers, so using a tight knit network of Trans-Alliance employees and airport workers, Sam and Gail are going to track the movement of said ex-boyfriends on the Trans-Alliance network to maneuver Mo in place, either as a flight attendant or fellow passenger, on those same flights, no matter where in the country. In Mo criss-crossing the country in "unexpectedly" reconnecting with ex-boyfriends, she discovers much about them that she didn't know the first time around. As the end of the one month nears, Mo may also discover much about herself and what may have always been right in front of her without she truly noticing.—Huggo
