The Most Colorful Time of the Year (2022)

Comedy, Drama, Romance
Katrina Bowden, Melinda Michael, Christopher Russell, Joanna Douglas
Widowed optometrist Dr. Michelle Stevens is determined to make this Christmas the best for her adolescent daughter Bailey Stevens in light of them both missing Bailey's deceased father. It will be the best since his passing if Bailey gets her one and only undisclosed Christmas wish, which only partly includes Michelle not getting back together with her last long term boyfriend Mark who seems to want so. In her recent encounters with him, Michelle becomes increasingly certain that Bailey's favorite teacher, Ryan Tanner, who teaches science, is hiding the secret that he is colorblind. If Michelle and Bailey discover the truth, they will learn that he is indeed so, it being the reason he is so anti-Christmas in he not privy to the festive colors of the season. With the deadline to apply in a trial in testing new technology soon closing, the trial which she believes may open up his world, Michelle has to get Ryan first to admit that he is indeed colorblind, which he seems reluctant to do, and then second to agree to participate in it. While a connection seems to be happening between Michelle and Ryan in the process, actually coming together may be hindered by what happens with the trial, and by misconceptions about others in their life, Mark on Michelle's side, and the plethora of colleagues and single mothers who are clamoring for Ryan's attention on his side, most specifically fellow teacher Gabby.—Huggo
